Terms
Last updated 3 July 2026
These terms cover your use of the Quency website. They are written to be read. The short version: enjoy the sounds, and be kind to the work behind them.
Using the site
The site is yours to use for personal, non-commercial listening and reading. Please do not disrupt it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or copy it in bulk.
The music, and everything else here
All music, sound recordings, images, and words on this site are the work of Damian Montagu and Quency, or appear with permission, and are protected by copyright.
You are welcome to listen as often as you like. Downloading, re-recording, sampling, redistributing, or placing the sounds in other work, including videos and streams, needs our written permission first. For licensing enquiries, write to hello@quency.com.
Wellbeing, not medical advice
Quency is a wellbeing product. The sounds are composed to help you feel calm, rest, and listen deeply. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and Quency does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. If you have concerns about your health, please speak to a qualified professional.
Listening safely
Please listen at a comfortable volume, especially with headphones, and never in situations that need your full attention, such as driving.
Links to others
The site links to third parties, such as social platforms, app stores, and the charity we support. Their sites carry their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
The app
The Quency app is coming soon, and will have its own terms when it launches.
Availability and changes
The site is provided as it is. We may change, pause, or retire any part of it at any time, and we may update these terms. The date at the top always tells you when they last changed.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this free website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
